Tuesday the extradition would cause undue hardship to Mrs Lawrence a mother of children one and two years old He said extradition is granted only for a witness in a felony case and adultery is not a felony in California Vermont asked the return of Mrs Lawrence as a witness against the Rev David Johnson of Irasburg Vt charged with adultery Orange County Attorney Phillip Angell Jr of Brookfield assisting state's attorney for Orleans County told Judge Brazil that Mrs testimony was needed to prosecute the minister Mrs Lawrence appeared in eourt in her white uniform of a hotel maid She lives in
