Tengen Uzui, otherwise known as the Sound Hashira is one of the most prominent and popular characters from the Demon Slayer series. He is also considered as one of the most skilled and powerful swordsman in the Demon Slayer Corps.
As a Hashira, Tengen possesses incredible strength, speed and agility which allows him to fight at super-human levels, as he is the sound Hashira, he also possesses incredible hearing abilities and uses sound waves to locate his enemies and to listen and beware of his surroundings. His special sound breathing techniques is known to be one of the strongest breathing techniques, but how powerful is Tengen?

The God Of Flamboyance
Claiming to be the "god of flamboyance" Tengen always had a tendency to be flashy and unique, he believes in showing off his personality and cares less of what others think of him, however, being flamboyant also comes with its negatives such as getting his own way. Tengen believes that his subordinates should listen to all the orders he gives out no matter what, this is seen during the Entertainment Arc when he forced Tanjiro, Inosuke and Zenitsu to dress up and act like girls to infiltrate the brothel he suspected was run by a demon. No matter the situation or pain he is in, Tengen never lets go of his flamboyant attitude and puts on a smile always. His positive attitude is what also makes him a powerful fighter, he also admires his comrades such as Kyojuro Rengoku and looks up to him. Tengen also regrets not being able to save the life of those he tried to and now tries his best to make sure the people he loves are protected always, especially his three wives, Suma, Makio and Hinatsuru. Tengen also believes in putting himself before the mission before anything else, no matter what it takes.
Being the Sound Hashira of the demon slayer corps, Tengen is a seriously powerful and skilled fighter. His immense speeds and strength is seen during the Entertainment Arc battle when he takes on Daki and Gyutaro along with the help of Tanjiro,Inosuke, Nezuko and Zenitsu. He was able to slice off the head of Daki without her even realizing what had happened. However once he had sliced off Daki's head, her brother Gyutaro emerged to console her. This is when the real fight began. Since Tengen has been training from birth in the ways of the shinobi and to be a powerful ninja, he had also been trained to resist poison, this is how he managed to keep up the fight with Gyutaro even when hit by Gyutaro's poison sickles. Thanks to Tengen's incredible speeds he was able to keep up with both Gyutaro and Daki as he is also known as one of the fastest Hashiras.
Being the sound Hashira, Tengen uses his enhanced hearing to analyze his environment, this ability enabled him to realize that a battle was happening underground and to even find out the location of his opponents. Tengen's speeds, stamina, reflexes and endurance surpasses super-human levels as he constantly went through intense training during his younger days and his resistance to pain also plays a vital role in his battle against Gyutaro as he was able to continue fighting even after his left arm was chopped off and one of his eyes being had been slashed. Although he was fighting with one arm, he still managed to keep up with Gyutaro's speeds, this shows his will and control to keep fighting even though he was in pain.
The Sound Hashira
Due to his harsh training as a ninja, Tengen also possessed superior stealth abilities which he used to sneak up on and attack opponents without them realizing it. He also has vast knowledge on strategic fighting methods due to his experience gained as both a Demon Slayer and ninja, the years of fighting demons plus analyzing the situation to make tactical decisions in the heat of the battle makes him a powerful demon slayer. He uses unorthodox strategic methods to take advantage of the situation, this is seen when he stops his own heart from beating to stop himself from dying because of the poison in his body, this took the Gyutaro by surprise and gave Tengen an advantage to keep fighting.
Sound breathing was a breathing style that Tengen created himself, he uses his technique such as Musical Score to detect the rhythm of his enemies and read them like sheet music, by doing this he is able to determine his enemy's weak points and gage his opponents strength and moves. Tengen is also known as one of the most powerful and skilled swordsman in the entire demon slayer corps, unlike his peers, Tengen's primary weapon is a dual nichirn cleaver which is basically two large sharp blades held together by a metal chain in the middle (similar to nunchucks). He used this weapon when fighting the upper moon 6 demon Gyutaro whirling the blades in a rapid motion at the demon with full force to block and land powerful attacks. The use of explosive beads is another weapon that Tengen uses to buy himself time in between fights and dodge attacks.
With all said and done, Tengen Uzui is one of the strongest and most extremely skilled Demon slayer in the series, his physical abilities, combat skills and strategic thinking makes him a tough opponent to defeat in a battle. Towards the end of the battle after emerging victorious and defeating Gyutaro and his sister, Tengen decides to retire from being a demon slayer and wants to spend the rest of his life with his wives in peace, a fitting end for one of the most powerful demon slayers around.
