My build went for mild cosmetic changes, significant weight savings
& top N/A power with optimal valvetrain mods that make more a 8300rpm redline screamer.
Tuned by me with hptuners, shifts fantastic, runs hard and is a perfect amount of power with the
streets warm and the daily driver capable rear Nittos biting. I ordered the car and took delivery
around March 1, 2022. I drive the car for fun and only been in the rain a few times.
The heart of the beyond E85 bolt-on build is the Comp Cams "NSR" 433430 cam set. Most don't realize
that the cams are "NSR" (no springs required) only to factory redline of around 7400rpm. If you want max and reliable power you do indeed want more valvetrain upgrades and I did what was needed with PAC springs, chains, tensioners,
titanium retainers, Innovators West balancer, Boundary OPGs/blueprinted oil pump, electric water pump.
Driven FR50 oil specific for Coyotes utilized.
The Holley intakes just came out as I wrapping the cam install - just in time. I went low-ram with the round throttle
body snout. Initially I ran a Bullit TB and got around 510rwhp SAE on a dynojet. I did some very light lower manifold port matching and with a Soler 95mm TB (born of Corvette ZR1) I reached 520rwhp+. Dyno sheet shows my prior 2020 FBO E85 car compared to first throttle body to the ZR1/light ported setup. This dyno is a little wavy at the top end when the car is doing 180+mph on the rollers.
Tune is full time pump E85. Easy update for 93 octane can be provided. I just check the E85 each time and buy in batches in jugs.
Hptuners cable and tunes will included with the sale. My tune has some room for refinement, I'm sure, but the driveability and Jekyl-Hyde nature is perfect. Idles at 600-650rpm and is docile when driven mildly. I run the Steeda pro-flow air box without insert. Steeda says race only, run rough but not so for this buid - I custom installed an aluminum honeycomb air straightener.
The exhaust got a lot of attention on this build. Both Green cats and off road pipes are included. To find a reasonably civil but super exhaust note I found a center resonator necessary. AND I had extra Stainless Brothers resonators Tig welded into the Borla S-type pipes. I get tons of compliments on the sound. I'll add a sound clip to this thread later.
Every stock part included with sale including the <100 mile stock wheels/tires. Summer wheel tire/set as pictured included. Enkei RPF1s with Nitto 305-40-18 rear drag radial and 245-45-18 Continental Extreme Contact Sports on the front. A separate 4 season Enkei NT03+M wheels set with Continental DSW06 tires is available. Enkei wheels are super light and made in Japan. To be clear, all stock parts includes full exhaust, stock front grille, stock 3.15 complete rear end,
original rear lower control arms (I bought low mileage donors to install the Steeda bearings.)
Tons of steeda suspension on the car. Approximately 200lbs in weight savings from lighter parts and removed items.
Rear seat out currently. Key weight savings from wheel/tires setup, Baer 2-piece rotors, QA1 carbon fiber driveshaft
and Antigravity lithium battery.
Over 20k in parts at sale prices and lower prices that are no longer available. Current carts of a majority of the parts
in build are shown in Lethal and Steeda carts, attached. The items not in those carts are mostly: Summer wheel/tire set,
battery, HpTuners & Dyno Time, Left side DSS 800hp axle, 3.55 rear, Magnaflow center resonator, PML alluminum cast aluminum Trans pan, aftermarket front grille, Faux carbon tail panel & taillight covers, Black Ford 5.0 emblems, Jaeger brothers fender guards, Driveshaft loop, More ARP valvetrain bolts, Modular Head shop TI retainers, Oil Catch can, Velossatech scoop,
The previous illustrates the short appearance mod list - it removes almost all gloss black items, particularly the faux carbon tail panel and tail light covers.
Items included that you can swap out depending on your usage: 1" drop handling rear springs in place of the current 1/2" drop drag rears, Steeda lightweight rear bumper bar (never removed the rear bumper cover), Borla S-type system X-pipe.
Next steps I would do on the car would be an "OTR" over-the-radiator intake setup. That could be worth 10hp straightening out the intake path. I have available 5" MAF tube and other tubing needed for that. Other typical weight savings steps could be done like K-member, carbon hood/trunk, drag brakes, etc. Also was considering installing the Ratiotek shift kit and upgraded Sonnax clips. I have a set of Hoosier drag bracket radials with 3 passes on a separate set of RPF1s available. I only had the car to the track 1 time and I was spinning the rim in the tire
I had the beads sanded and Permatex hi-tach applied but never got the car back out. No meaningful track runs to report.
Looking to sell to be ready for my next project. Getting the most out of the combination is what I enjoy and I pretty finished that with this 2022 GT.
